I need great Ram Masters wisdom for these , for a ( ASRock Z77 extreme4 with a i5 3570 win7 premium 64 bit loaded to a SSD ) (if that helps)

they are all about the same $$ mark but whats the best from best to worst for quality and stability. The tech info is Greek to me.:??:

Kingston HyperX Blu DDR3 PC12800/1600MHz CL10 2x8GB (KHX1600C10D3B1K2/16G)

G.Skill Sniper DDR3 PC14900/1866MHz CL9 2x8GB (F3-1866C9D-16GSR)

Corsair XMS3 Vengeance DDR3 PC12800/1600MHz CL9 2x8GB (CMZ16GX3M2A1600C9)

Corsair Vengeance Pro Blue DDR3 PC12800/1600MHz CL9 2x8GB (CMY16GX3M2A1600C9B)

Corsair Vengeance Pro Silver DDR3 PC12800/1600MHz CL9 2x8GB (CMY16GX3M2A1600C9)

Corsair Vengeance Low Profile DDR3 PC12800/1600MHz CL10 2x8GB (CML16GX3M2A1600C10)

I have no idea what all the (code) means apart from the 1600 in there.
Or do I hold my breath for DDR4???? :ange:

cheers guys

Solution
The 1866 Snipers far and away, same CL as the bulk of the 1600 sets, dump the 1600/10s they are below entry level DRAM these days......the 1866 Snipers equate to a 1600/CL8 set, and add additional Bandwidth, plus the SNipers have OC headroom, most can go up a step (here to 2133) easily
They are all 1600Mhz 2x 8Gb so you should choose the lowest CAS latency (CL) but most are 9 so then the deciding factor becomes price.

Conclusion one of the four options below based on lowest cost:

G.Skill Sniper DDR3 PC14900/1866MHz CL9 2x8GB (F3-1866C9D-16GSR)

Corsair XMS3 Vengeance DDR3 PC12800/1600MHz CL9 2x8GB (CMZ16GX3M2A1600C9)

Corsair Vengeance Pro Blue DDR3 PC12800/1600MHz CL9 2x8GB (CMY16GX3M2A1600C9B)

Corsair Vengeance Pro Silver DDR3 PC12800/1600MHz CL9 2x8GB (CMY16GX3M2A1600C9)

If I need to pick one I would go for the G.Skill because that one is 1866Mhz.

you should care about compatibility , and pick CL9 , it is better.

and here is your Motherboard Tested Memory list

http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z77%20Extreme4/?cat=Memory

this doesnt mean other wont work , it shows you what they tested and the results of their tests.

Yes 16 should cover the 3d CAD and design work too, plus it seems to help with that SSD OS dedicated drive Page writing stuff thingy , something about making sure you have tons of spare RAM so it doesn't write in the SSD. (too much reading opinions is doing my head in) anyway I see RAM as my workbench, can never have too much.:pt1cable:
