RAM not being fully utilized

Hello,

I recently built a computer but my RAM is not being fully utilized, my computer is currently only using 7.95gb out of 8gb of the RAM. Is something wrong with the RAM or is the RAM not being utilized being reserved for certain things on the computer? I realize 0.05 isn't a lot, but I want to be sure nothing is actually wrong with the computer itself. (I'm still fairly new to building computers)

These are my specs;

-Windows 10 (64 bit)
-Intel i5-6600 (skylake)
-MSI GeForce GTX 960 w/ 4gb vram
-MSI z170a gaming pro motherboard
-8gb of Corsair Vengance RAM (ddr4)

No, there is nothing wrong with that. It is completely normal. Some RAM is dedicated to OS and basic processes.

Well that's embarrassing, I really should have known that. Thanks for the help!

If you really want to feel better, run MemTest and check for errors.
