D DashAhead Reputable Jun 23, 2014 9 0 4,510 Jun 23, 2014 #1 So I have a Maximus VII Hero motherboard, with 2 sticks of 4GB Vengeance ram. For some reason, the ram is not snapping into place and the clips on the side won't click in. Even pushing with a bit of force did not work. Can anyone help?

Solution Tradesman1 Jun 24, 2014 Just line up the slot on the bottom of the stick with the small protrusion in the slor and apply equal pressure at either end of the stick

TechyInAZ Titan Jun 23, 2014 18,251 425 81,340 Jun 23, 2014 #4 yeah don't go too hard, but from experience it does take a bit of pressure on some dimms to get them in right. Try adding a bit more pressure, however I don't know how much pressure your already putting on the dimms and mobo so use your own judgment. Upvote 0 Downvote
