Hello,

I have the following hardware installed:

Asus Z270-E Motherboard
Intel Core i7-6700K
2x8GB Corsair RGB 3600 MHz RAM
EVGA G2 850 WATT PSU
EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW2

My problem is that my RAM won't run any faster than 2133 MHz but I have 3600 MHz RAM installed and they are in the same parallel slots (same colors.) Do I have to overclock my CPU in order to get the full 3600 MHz output out of my RAM, would a simple BIOS update fix this issue or do I need to get a new CPU? What am I missing here? I am also seeing the attached image in HWiFO64 which doesn't make sense to me or maybe the RAM is just only running at around ~1000 MHz because that is all the system needs at that given time?

You need to open AI Tweaker in the BIOS and change AI Overclock Tuner to XMP. That way you load the XMP profile of your memory.

See P. 19 of the English manual.

So I made the adjustments with AI Tweaker in BIOS. I also updated my BIOS to the latest version. I am getting a little more out of my RAM but now it is only at 1800 MHz at most. I look in task manager and then under Memory and it says 3600 MHz instead of 2133 MHz now so it worked but it still isn't running at those top speeds. Here is an Image
