Ram not working after replacing damaged stick.

Hey guys got a problem, I have recently bought a new stick of 4GB ram see link NEW RAM
I replaced my old stick which was bought as a 8gb set which was two 4GB's
OLD RAM
Was the ram i was replacing.
Now the problem is when I try booting up my system just get the three beep fail,I've tried just using the new stick by it's self and it would fail. I've tried using both sticks failure, I've tried using the new stick and resting the cmos battery and the failure would persist.
I really don't know what to do and would love some help

Computer specs that might be needed. --

MotherBoard
CPU
Graphics card although i don't think it matters, Nvidia GTX750Ti

Why did you replace the old RAM?

Is the computer booting with any combo of the RAM installed?

I only replaced one stick of ram, which to my belief the ram stick fried, or just failed on me, I'm currently on the pc with the stick that works from the old set. So yes it does boot.

Too often, RAM does not like to work with sticks from a different batch.

If you move the stick to the other open slot, and it boots, than the slots are fine.

If you want more RAM than that, you should get the memory kit with the matched two sticks.

Well regardless shouldn't the new stick work by its self anyways?

Yes, the new stick should work on its own. Sometimes, on the MB, it needs to be installed in a certain slot and perhaps that is the issue.

I've tried it in both slots while placing it in, I've restarted the computer while in each slot still failure, and I've also tried in both slots while reseting the cmos for around 15-30 seconds more than once,

Than the new stick is a faulty part.
