Ram not working

I got a new computer and it kept crashing so I removed one stick of ram and it worked fine but when ever I put in it stoped working it worked with the first one and the second one but at the same time

Guess what you say is that with two sticks in in doesn't work,but with one in it does. This will work with even switching stick,but only one so both sticks on their own seem to work.

Would like to know hardware specs. Can do the next with just one stick in (it's an usefull tool anyway),

download hwinfo,
install and open it=click run,
close the top window which is the system summary,
in the main window at the left top click "save report",
at the bottom of the next window check ⓪ "short text report",
after that you'll see what's in the pc,
copy by clicking "copy to clipboard" and rightclick+paste in your next respons

Did you try all slots with either stick?
