ram of bus speed 2400MHZ but shows 2133MHZ

I have bought DDR4 RAm corsair vengeance 2400 MHZ, but after the installation in my PC I see it from cmd that my ram bus speed is 2133 MHZ.... what to do? please advice.

You need to go into your Motherboard's BIOS and enable the "XMP Profile" this will set the RAM to the Speeds and Timings that is advertised for it, otherwise it'll just run at the stock 2133 MHz. Hope this helps :)

Oh okay thanks... and it's 7th gen, b250m pro vd motherboard and it does support 2400 MHz speed. But the problem is idk how to do that xmp file thing... :s
