Question RAM Problem , Computer don't show screen

I have 4gb ram composed of 2 sticks of 2gb's for quite some time my pc was showing me off blue screen, restarts , freezes and then last night it was freezes every time when it was about to load windows , I removed ram one by one and found that ram 1 ram was faulty i just want to make sure are there any techniques to make sure that ram is dead ? i try to boot the system with the faulty ram but it is not showing screen so i can not make it in to bios

also guide i have 4 slots of ram 1,2,3,4 1 and 3 are of black color and 2 and 4 are of blue color my mobo is intel dh67cl am i making any mistake should insert ram in 1,3 or 1,2 please guide

If one works and the other doesn't, that is a proper test, and most likely the one that doesn't is dead.
