I have an HP EliteBook 8440p with Windows 10 installed (the latest version, probably even Insiders Preview). The problem is that i have installed 4 gb RAM, and im only able to use 2.92gb losing more than 1 GB, though in my new laptop i can use 7.84/8GB. As there was such a differencebetween the two i took a 4GB RAM module compatible with the laptop with the problem and swaped it. It know says that I have installed 6GB of RAM, which is completely correct, but I still have usable 2.92GB. Can someone solve thsi problem somehow or tell me whats probably failing?
