RAM Problems with ASUS Motherboard

I have an old Asus M4A785-M Motherboard and system in the bedroom for watching television. I recently purchased 4 - 2GB sticks of 800MHZ ram for the system.

I can only get 3 of the sticks to work at one time. No matter the combination or where you put it in the ram slots only 3 will work at a time. If you try and put the 4th in the system will not boot. I have tried different combo's and all the ram posts as good - It just won't boot if you put a 4th stick in??

Any ideas?

Check if your RAM is in the QVL
Check there if it is support 4 modules mode.

Yes it is QVL - Kingston DDR2 800Mhz

According to the QVL it should support 4 channel.
