Hello everyone,

I just bought an old motherboard ASUS P5K-E Wifi, this motherboard supports up to 8gb of ddr2 ram (i tested it before i bought it and it showed 8gb so it's working properly).

It has 4 dimms, and i fill all 4 with 2x2gb 800mhz and 2x1gb 667mhz.

Now when computer posts, it says 6gb of ram, when i enter bios, it shows exactly 3328mb as it shows in windows 7 64bit (shows 6gb but 3.2 usable).

I am using dedicated GPU, and i also checked if memory remapping is enabled in bios.

Does anyone have idea what else could i check ?

I honestly don't think that can be issue since it's showing the proper amount of ram, but for some reason it's limiting it.
I'll try that anyway, since 2 stick have different speed (667) compared to other to (800). I'll share the result very soon.

I wrote in original post that it was enabled already in bios. That was my first thought.

Yea i updated it to latest bios already forgot to mention.

I managed to fix problem, just by reinstalling RAM, first by 2, then added 3rd and then 4th (with booting in between to check if system is recognizing all ram) and now it uses all 6 gb of ram.

Thank you all for help :)
