I recently bought 2 new sticks of Corsair 4GB CML8GX3M2A1600C9 for my ASUS Maximus V GENE Motherboard, however they don't seem to want to play together with my already installed 2 x 4GB Corsair Vengeance CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8R sticks as they only work separately but not mixed in various slot configs. PLEASE HELP! I suspect it may be a BIOS setting/s.

Cheers!

Solution
I suspect the sticks just don't want to play. It's never a good idea to mix packages of DRAM, there are no guarantees they will play nice, even if both sets are the same exact model. Try adding about + 0.06 to the DRAM voltage and then add the second set and see if that does it, if not we can try a little extra to the MC (memory controller) voltage
