ram slower than motherboard

I had an old motherboard crap out on me and I am trying to replace it. Will a motherboard that supports ddr3 2100, and ddr3 1866 support a stick of ddr3 1600 memory?

yes it will as most motherboard hat support higer clock rates will almost always support most clock rates below them to 1333 or 1600
