Ram spec on website is 1600 MHz but actually as per Speccy its 798 MHz. Why its almost half?

Hi. I want to know whether my laptop has same ram speed as described in the product webside.

Product website says Ram is "RAM: 8G LPDDRIII1600 "

What you are seeing is normal. DDR3 1600 runs at a 800mhz(plus or min7s a couple mhz).

It's fine. Since it's a Double Data Rate(DDR) memory the 800mhz speed is multiplied by 2 to get the actual speed, i.e. 1600mhz.
