Hi
i need some info on wheather what I see is just and error or if my RAM are underperforming.

below mentioned are my pc specs

Operating System : MS Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit

CPU : Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 @ 2.93GHz 40 °C
Wolfdale 45nm Technology

RAM : 4.0GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 333MHz (5-5-5-15)

Motherboard : Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. G41M-Combo (Socket 775)

Graphics : BenQ E2200HD (1920x1080@60Hz)
NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450

Hard Drives : 488GB SAMSUNG SAMSUNG HD502HI ATA Device (SATA) 33 °C

Optical Drives : UBEXMX O5AVCPM3C1EB SCSI CdRom Device
HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH22NS40 ATA Device

Audio : SRS Audio Sandbox (WDM)

if you have notices my RAM shows frequwncy of 333mhz
I have 2 sticks of 2gb each both running at 800mhz at dual channel, however the effective frequency shows as 333mhz. i dont see any significant drop in performance but just concerned about the specs displayed in cpuz and speccy, should i ignore this or is there some change needed..

Thanks..

My assumption is the RAM is running 667 or 666⅔ MHz, if this reading is from CPU-Z in the form of DRAM Frequency then "I/O bus clock" instead of "Data rate" which is 1/2 the actual frequency is being displayed; DDR {Double Data Rate}.

In the BIOS, assuming the DDR2 'is' rated for 800 MHz:
DRAM Frequency -> 800 MHz
Save & Exit = Yes
