[SOLVED] Ram speed for asus b150 pro

All ram will have a default lower speed that lets you get into the bios and set a higher speed.
That assumes that your motherboard bios has that tuning knob.
B150 is a very basic motherboard so it may not support faster speeds.

Not to worry, though, Unless you are using integrated graphics, you will not notice any performance difference.

And... when you say two sticks, it is most important that both sticks are from the same matched kit.
Otherwise you may have issues.
Due to Intel chipset limitation, DDR4 2400MHz memory frequency is only supported by 7th Generation Intel processors. Higher memory modules will run at the maximum transfer rate of DDR4 2400MHz.

Motherboard supports both 6th and 7h Generation Intel CPUs.
This may need to be clarified, we are both referring to 2 different B150 PRO boards, the one which I have linked is 2133 only.
