RAM Speed Question

Hi,

I'm currently building a gaming build, and I was advised to take higher speed ram (currently running 1600)

Is there any benefit to upgrading it to 1866 and what type/brand/model should I get? (16gb, please!)

I'm trying to keep the price around the $1,900 mark, but if you think the increase would be worth it, by all means include it.

You will get a few more FPS (like less then 10) by using higher freq ram like 2133 over 1600. Going 1600 to 1866 is not even worth it at all.

Do you have any good 2133 RAM types?

RAM frequency is overrated, at least past certain speeds. To save money i would buy 1600 RAM, no problems there, the fps increase is more theorical than practical.
