Question Ram Speed?

Question for the pros .I have a ryzen 7500f and a msi mpg B850 Edge Ti wifi motherboard . My Question is the cpu says 5200 MT/s max.
The msi motherboard says on their approved list shows klevv Brand 7600 and 7800 Ram. Question is if cpu says 5200 can the 7600 be used ? First pc build Thanks for the help

Typically, yes. However, RAM speeds past the CPU specs are considered overclock (OC) and are not guaranteed to work. However, most people are able to utilize RAM speeds past the CPU specs. How much past? All depends on the CPU/Mobo/RAM combination. Finding the common middle-ground is usually the best route (for price/performance) in a personal computer. The memory compatibility sheet for your motherboard lists up to DDR5 7600 and 7800 dram kits shown to be tested and working with 7000 series CPUs. But, only one kit at 7800 and then many more at 7600.

i have the 7500f,,, which is also recommended at 5200mt's(thats just amd MINIMUM guaranteed speed) above they class as extreme overclocking.
p.s.. i'm running 2x16gb ddr5 6000mt's and no issues.(my ram is spec'd at 6000mts, but their site says upto 7200mts,but im happy safely at the 6000mt's)... (i upgraded from 2x8gb ddr5 5600mt's)

OK thanks So would i be better ordering something like 6000 then?
I thought since msi said 7600 on the approved motherboard list i had to run that.

ddr5 6000mt's seems to be the sweetspot for ddr5 ram... and seems to not have issues..
look at the cost of 32gb(2x16gb sticks) 6000mts vs 32gb(2x16gb 7600mts) im guessing its a bit difference to where you might be able to actually get 64gb (2x32gb ddr5 6000/6400mts)

also look at the "CL" speeds. ideally lower the better.. like "CL30" or "CL32", are fastest clock speeds.
