I'm having trouble upgrading DDR3 RAM in my museum PC that I got to use at work.
Mobo: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/G41M-VS3/
Old stick: http://www.adata-group.com/index.php?action=product_specification&cid=6&piid=49&lan=en (it's not running in the OC 1333 mode)
New sticks: http://www.kingston.com/datasheets/KVR16N11S8_4.pdf
BIOS is the Megatrends v2.67.
If I just try to put either one of the new sticks (after removing the old one), the monitors get no signal whatsoever and I can't even get to BIOS. I'm sure that the stick is mounted correctly, fans on CPU/GPU spin fine so RAM seems to be the only issue.
I've tried to change the Voltage from Auto to 1.5V (that what it says on the new stick), but that didn't help. Anything I can do or are those new sticks simply incompatible with that mobo?
