With a Z170, it's the pins in the socket which means replacing the mobo, rather than the CPU. Getting an RMA on the mobo is hard, as most all manufacturers blame bent socket pins on the user (why I always suggest checking the socket before buying or if mail order, film opening the delivery box, mobo box and checking the socket, then you have proof it arrived that way.
