Question RAM Upgrade Advise

Hello,

My Build:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2400g
GPU: AMD Radeon RX Vega 11 Graphics
MOBO: Asus Prime A320M-K
RAM: G.Skill Aegis 8GB DDR4-3000MHz (F4-3000C16S-8GISB)
Storage: SSD KINGSTON SA400S37120G
Storage: HDD TOSHIBA DT01ACA100 1TB 3.5" SATA3
PSU: 650W

So, I was looking forward to add another 8GB of the same RAM to my build.
But I had some problems with it. This RAM is not very compatible with my system and it's also missing from the Memory QVL of the motherboard.
(Backstory here. TL;TR: My RAM wasn't running correctly with the XMP profile so I had to configure it manually, it's working fine now.)



Should i get the same 8GB RAM or get another set of 2x8GB? which is in the Memory QVL (G.Skill Aegis 16GB DDR4-3000MHz (F4-3000C16D-16GISB))

I would get the 16 GB kit (2x8) that is listed on the QVL just to be sure it will run at it's rated speed.
