RAM Upgrade: can i add the same kit?

I'm planning to upgrade my ram in the next 3-4 months, will i be able to add the same kit without issues?, This is the memory i have now:
8GB (2x4GB) 3200MHz DDR4 CL16 DIMM XMP HyperX Predator

Can i add the same kit later in the future?

My pc specs:
MSI B450M-Mortar-Titanium
Ryzen 5 2600
GeForce GTX1060 ROG STRIX OC - 6GB GDDR5

Nobody can give you a sure answer on this. Adding even identical modules can be hit and miss. You have a better chance when they are identical , but it's not a guarantee they will run together.

i heard something about checking the serial number if they are the same can some problems happen to the motherboard?

it cant be guaranteed that it would work perfectly but in reality as long as you match it it will probably be fine.

Still no guarantee when purchased at different times , happened to my son with HyperX modules.
