Recently picked up two more 8GB sticks of RAM to go with my existing pair of 8GB sticks. Same Corsair part number, but unfortunately they don't want to play nice. Both pairs run on their own at the stickered 3600 DOCP, but putting all four together triggers a BIOS memory not found set of beeps. BIOS updated today.

Setting it to 3200 allows all four to boot and run apparently fine. Some questions:

[1] Anything else I can try to get them to run at 3600 or should I just return the two new sticks and forget 32GB for now?
[2] Is it a big loss if I have to run them at 3200?
[3] If I keep them, can I test any DOCP speed up to 3600, like 3533?

Thanks for any insight!

You now know why ram is sold as kits.

One thing you can do is enter the bios with two sticks running at devault settings.
Explicitly set the 3600 speed and other timings. Then increase the ram voltage above the 1.2v default. That may well let you run.
You may need to go to 1.35v; no higher than 4.0
Test your results and
Run memtest86 or memtest86+
They boot from a usb stick and do not use windows.
You can download them here:
If you can run a full pass with NO errors, your ram should be ok.

Running several more passes will sometimes uncover an issue, but it takes more time.
Probably not worth it unless you really suspect a ram issue.
