RAM Usage much higher after Windows April 2018 Update (ver. 1803)

Hi,

A few weeks ago, I was using Photoshop, no problem. This was before the April 2018 update for Windows. Now, after the update, my RAM has gone up and I can't use the things i want to use in photoshop anymore. I don't need help with PS, but with my RAM going through the roof now. Please help...

4GB RAM, around 50%+ after update with nothing running. Just background apps.

Try CCLeaner, and see what's configured for startup / scheduled tasks. You might be able to take a few out, and change a few auto-start services to manual (if you know you can run them as such.

I've tried changing the startup thingys before, but I didnt really have many apps that turn on on startup, plus i didnt know if i should disable them. I've tried using the things in CCleaner but my RAM is still high in usage for no reason. There's a lot more apps listed in the Task Manager after the update than before the update, and i dont want to go back to the previous version.
