Question Ram wont click into slot

I used PC part picker to choose a Z690 TUF wifi mobo and the RAM I bought was the corsair vengeance 32GB DDR5 5600 2 sticks and they wont properly sit inside the mobo however when I used the site for the build it says they were compatible is it possible there is another issue besides me being a dummy and not knowing to place them properly?

Verify Model name of your motherboard. Model name is written on the board.
ASUS TUF Gaming Z690-PLUS WIFI D4 - uses DDR4.
ASUS TUF Gaming Z690-PLUS WIFI - uses DDR5.

DDR5 modules will not fit into DDR4 socket on board.
