Hi,
today as part of the boredom of quarantine, i decided to clean my PC case, so i took everything apart, and i literally mean everything( expect things that required soldering)
and then after a very satisfying cleanup, i pit it all back
and now i have a few problems
first of all, i didnt have thermal paste so i crossdd my fingers that my cpu wont fry which it didnt, but now the fan works very harder, but that isnt the main problem
one of the main problems is that now my rams wont dual channel

and thee second problem is that my GPU is longer working, it turns on on bootup so i know its not dead, but i have to use integrated graphics, and funny thing is it shows on ZCPU

any help would be appreciated

Solution
Have you checked all your drivers in Device Manager? Are there any yellow warning signs? Is your video card listed under "Display adapters"?
One thing you could try is to update the Chipset drivers of your motherboard.
Another is to go into the BIOS and Enable or Disable "X.M.P." to see if that solves your memory problems. I don't think it will but it does not hurt to try.
Are your RAM sticks located in the memory slots recommended in your motherboard manual?
Can you list the parts in your system?
yes, its the same as before the cleanup
i tried single channel and it works, and each slot works alone on its own, but dual channel doesnt work
gpu srill doesnt come up, i currently use the integrated graphics

yes, i even used some alcohol wih a qtip to clean inside, the ram slots work if i use one stick or if i use two sticks in single channel, but in dual channel, im going nowhere
as of the gpu, it actually happened another time before as well but got fixed with a simple detach and reattach, but now my gpu doesnt show any display

What exactly did you do to clean your PC case? Have you double checked the RAM and PCIe slots to make sure there is no dirt inside them?
and for cleaning, i took everything out, cleaned them, put it all back

just a thought, does the gtx 1050 ti O4g need additional PSU cable, or it gets its power from the slot irself?

i feel like i should have given my specs earlier, but here it is
MOBO: Asus Prime b250 pro
RAM: 2x8Gb Axtrom 2400Mhz DDR4
CPU: Intel Core i7-7700
GPU: ASUS GEFORCE GTX 1050Ti OC 4GB

i think this is the essential stuff
if u need anymore details lemme know
my cpu, mobo, and gpu have around 1 year of warranty

ok, so i went and the video card was in the list, and it said working properly, so i deleted the driver updates and reinstalled thrm, but still no display

So you have a CPU with no/old/minimal used thermal paste, and you used a Q-TIP to clean the inside of the RAM slots..... neither of those 2 things are a good idea. Q-tips leave fibers that burn and damage the slot or your stick. Did you also clean the CPU pins/socket with Q-tips and alcohol? Please say no....

well thx for the tip, fortunately i didnt mess with the cpu, but how does thses affect the gpu not connecting , btw i checked gpu temp and it was near 80 degrees, dunno the normal temp for it

Are the fans running on the GPU? Did you try a different PCIe slot just to see if it is the GPU or the slot. Worth a try....
ill try the other slot later, currently not home
as for the fans, this gpu didnt use the fans even whne it was ok unless i ran something graphic-consuming, but the fans do a few spins on startup

It sounds like the problem I had 3 years ago. After cleaning my computer it just no longer allowed me to use the HDMI port on my computer, the fans would also turn on and be on full blast the moment the computer turned on https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/gtx-560-suddenly-stop-working.3152460/ Never actually figured out what was wrong with it. I came to the conclusion the I might have blown something while cleaning (CPU maybe)
