Hi,
today as part of the boredom of quarantine, i decided to clean my PC case, so i took everything apart, and i literally mean everything( expect things that required soldering)
and then after a very satisfying cleanup, i pit it all back
and now i have a few problems
first of all, i didnt have thermal paste so i crossdd my fingers that my cpu wont fry which it didnt, but now the fan works very harder, but that isnt the main problem
one of the main problems is that now my rams wont dual channel

and thee second problem is that my GPU is longer working, it turns on on bootup so i know its not dead, but i have to use integrated graphics, and funny thing is it shows on ZCPU

any help would be appreciated

Solution
Have you checked all your drivers in Device Manager? Are there any yellow warning signs? Is your video card listed under "Display adapters"?
One thing you could try is to update the Chipset drivers of your motherboard.
Another is to go into the BIOS and Enable or Disable "X.M.P." to see if that solves your memory problems. I don't think it will but it does not hurt to try.
yes, i just saw your post, it looks like my problem, ehat did you do in the end?

sadly nothing. I couldn't figure out the problem and didn't have the money at the time to buy replacement parts. I had just started a new job and was given a work laptop so I've been using that ever since. Wanted to upgrade for ages so I've just been saving up and buying parts to build a new one since then. Wish I could offer more help, although if someone figures out the problem I'd love to know too.

UPDATE
Guys i managed to screw around the bios settings and i got the gpu up and working
so now i go back to the first problem, the rams wont dual channel, i read somewhere that the rams' voltage needs to be set in the bios, but i dont remember the amount, any help there? maybe xmp profile changing?

Fast boot option in the BIOS turned on will skip some of the POST tests/diagnostics. It is not recommended to have it turned on when you do any changes. So much stuff. Didn't think about this when I read your post.

I'm happy you fixed your issues!
