RAM XMP question.

Hello. I have a question about XMP versions. I just installed an Asus Maximus VI Extreme motherboard and I'm looking to purchase 16 GB of Corsair Dominator Platinum CMD16GX3MVA1866C9. Everywhere I look it says this type of RAM supports XMP 1.3, including the Corsair website. The issue is that the QVL in the Asus manual show the same type of RAM except it specifies 4.13 XMP, and I can't seem to find version 4.13 Corsair RAM. Does Corsair even make a 4.13 version of this RAM? Why would the manual say 4.13 when all I can find is 1.3? Is a 1.3 version compatible with this motherboard? I'm running an Intel 4770K if that helps. Sorry for what I am sure is a basic question. I'm new to all this. Any help will be appreciated.

Think that's a misprint, 1.3 is the current version, and it really doesn't matter, also the QVLs are really pretty worthless anyway:

The 1866/9 set you've picked will be fine with the Extreme (great mobo by the way) 😉

Thanks for the response. Info in the link is spot on. 4.13 must be a misprint because I've searched and searched and that version does not exist. Nothing like a typo in a QVL to send a newbie on a wild goose chase. I can almost hear them laughing over there at Asus.

Took a look at that and that's the version of that model of DRAM, seems Corsair has a few versions of the model, probably different ICs and PCBs used

I'm sorry, but I'm a bit confused. Take a look at what? Do you think I am still good to go with the model I mentioned?

Your fine - I meant the 4.13 in the QVL - that's referring to the model number of the sticks they reference as being good (it's not the XMP version they are talking about)
