Hi i have a Gigabyte GA-B250-Gaming 3 motherboard with a i7 6700k cpu and in the specs it say :

  1. 4 x DDR4 DIMM sockets supporting up to 64 GB of system memory
    * Due to a Windows 32-bit operating system limitation, when more than 4 GB of physical memory is installed, the actual memory size displayed will be less than the size of the physical memory installed.
  2. Dual channel memory architecture
  3. Support for DDR4 2400/2133 MHz memory modules
  4. Support for ECC Un-buffered DIMM 1Rx8/2Rx8 memory modules (operate in non-ECC mode)
  5. Support for non-ECC Un-buffered DIMM 1Rx8/2Rx8/1Rx16 memory modules
  6. Support for Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) memory modules
    * To support 2400 MHz or XMP memory, you must install a 7th generation processor.
My question is if i enable XMP in bios can i install 2 x DDR4 16GB 3200mhz ram sticks ?

Solution
It won't go there, simply because the chipset will allow only DDR4-2400MHz. You should look at a Z270 motherboard if you want to overclock the ram and the processor. Anything above DDR4-2133MHz is an overclock. 2400MHz is s small overclock compared to 3200MHz.
