I have been having these random slowdowns while gaming. At first it only happened in Overwatch but now it's happenning in Planet Side 2 as well.
They last like a second where everything goes slow-motion like something HUGE was being loaded and then it recovers.

My specs:

  • Intel Core i5-13600K
  • MSI B760 TOMAHAWK DDR4
  • ASUS TUF 4070 TI GAMING OC
  • 64GB RAM (2X32GB)
  • KINGSTON SKC3000S1024G (KC3000)
  • 3 Hard drives HDD
  • Deepcool AK400
  • Corsair RM850X psu
  • windows 10
I don't have issues with temperatures and if I restart the PC the slowdowns stop happening.

I read some posts of people having similar issues but they were using an AMD CPU and something about fTPM:

I don't know if Intel has the same issue.

what are the hdds for?
test with unplug those hdd?

Its to backup data I don't want to miss in case of SDD failute.

Also yesterdayupgraded to Windows 11 and I updated my BIOS and I noticed in my BIOS that ftpm was indeed active on my machine and disabled it but since I updated to Windows 11 I enabled it again.

Ill report back to see if it happens again.

BTW why do you suggest to disable the HDDs?, they shouldn't be in use because everything that I run is on the SDD the OS and games.
