Question Random 5-10 second freezes in game, need help troubleshooting

Hi all. My setup is a 2 week-old system and sometimes while in games it will freeze for at least 5 seconds and then resume just fine. Sometimes it's just the audio that'll cut out while the game runs, and then resume. This has been happening on both online and offline games. W10, bios, chipset, and GPU drivers are all up to date.

Specs: Ryzen 5 2600x w. wrath spire cooling, ASUS B450M-A, GTX 1660ti, EVGA G 650w, corsair 3000 16gb (2x8), and one 480gb SSD.

Any help figuring out the root of this problem (whether it's software/hardware) would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Sagbert,

Could you try computing and running task manager and looking and temps of your components. After that I could deduct what part of your sys it is.

I have exact same problem, also have Ryzen 2600X but with B450 Tomahawk, no idea what's the reason behind this
