So here is the deal.

After 5 minutes of Fallout 4 on recommended Ultra details level my screen shuts down and messsage "No cable connected" appears on a black screen. Slightly can hear sounds of the game for another 3-5 secs then it's off and i cant restart it unless i push the button.
My specs.
GPU: Gigabyte GTX970
CPU: i7-6770 3.40Ghz
Motherboard: Asrock H110M-DGS
Monitor BenQ GL2450HE
RAM: 2x 8Gb DDR4
PSU AeroCool 500W. Not Enough? Or defective hardware? Also FAN rotating really loud.

Little update.
Done tests in another system
No crashes. Nothing. Stress tests done very well with the little exception - GPU temperature went a little bit higher.

The maximum resolution of the monitor is not supporting games at ultra resolution. Maybe that's why it shows cable not connected.

In my opinion every GPU should allocate resources to prevent overheating and overconsumption of energy. Right? Previously i had Radeon hd6670(1gb). It was weak, yes. But that graphics card knew it's "limits". I tried heavy games with hd6670 even if it was far from minimum or recommended pc specifics.
And as a result i had very low fps (obviously).

My new gtx970 runs games without VSync on ultra setting but GPU has "no limits". I mean it's always smooth. FPS is always above 60 but it consumes 90-98% of power and i have never seen the temperature going above 70C . And after approximately 5-10 it shuts down my screen.
On the other side with Vsync it "has limits" and feels stable.
So yeah. Your post is a half of solution. But i doubt it's all about my monitor.

The monitor's resolution has nothing to do with it.

It's either a defective card or a defective PSU.
Sadly I can't see the pic you've posted. When gaming without V-Sync what are your temps before shutdown?

Also what's the exact model of the AeroCool PSU and how old is it?
Might be it can't deliver enough juice at 12V

60C is the temperature of GPU with 96-100% of power consumption before shutdown.
AeroCool VX-500 which i unpacked 2 days ago.

Yes. Target set to 100% power. And as you may see it reaches 100% easily

So yeah. We've done some tests in another system.
No crashes. Nothing. Was good in the stress test.

Isn't it about weak/defective PSU?
