Hiii! Several days ago i replaced my old mobo, cpu and ram (Asus M5A78L-M Lx3 plus, fx 8300, 8gb ddr3) for Gigabyte b365m h, i5 9400 f and 16 gigs of ddr4. Things i left untouched are my pc case, PSU (Aigo ak 500w, i know it is literally the worst option on the market rn, but i had no other option), rx 580 and my hard drive (regular 2.5` 5600 rpm piece of crap) with system, drivers and everything. For some time it all ran smoothly, but after a couple of days it suddenly started disconnecting from my monitor for a couple of seconds and showing amd driver timeout error whenever i tried to launch any program that uses gpu acceleration (discord, steam, every game i tried to play). I tried using DDU, but even without drivers it does the same thing, except for the timeout error. Tried using my old rx 460 2gb, and everything worked perfectly. What could possibly be the cause of all this?
P.S. sorry for my bad english, its not my first language

PSU (Aigo ak 500w I quess we'll never know what was the problem,

This PSU could have been the MOST likely culprit. Period. I fully agree with "COLGeek" as well.

Anyway, just because the RX 460 or the system under stress with RX 580 suddenly works for a while, doesn't make AIGO a very decent PSU brand to begin with.

AIGO is a local Chinese brand, and they have been dragged into lawsuits in the country on several occasions for selling dodgy and cheap quality products. Some are too dangerous to even power up a gaming rig.

Some of the brand's higher wattage select models might be a bit 'okay-ish' in quality, but for the most part, AIGO brand should be avoided like a plague. But still, not recommended for any...

Quick update on the situation: At first i thought automatic gpu overclocking might be the problem, so i lowered the gpu clock speed to 1180 Mhz, which is below the base speed of my rx 580 2048sp. Still got black screens while opening/using graphicly intense apps. So then i did something stupid and overclocked it myself to aroung 1350 Mhz, opened FurMark and did a quick 1 minute test. Temps were Ok, didnt have a black screen, no problems at all. Gpu was using more than a 120 W, so PSU was not a problem. Maybe i`ll try deleting ALL of my files and installing clean Windows, because this is just annoying and i dont have money rn for a new PSU/SSD.

Yep, reinstalled everything and stillhave black screens. I`ll try to check bios settings, but it seems like the problem is in my hardware.

The BIOS file you uploaded was saved from your card ?
Cause if it is, then you have a genuine BIOS for your card.
I opened it in a BIOS editor , i checked for any modds.
There aren't any mods applied to your BIOS.
So, unfortunately you have to go further and check the power source as @COLGeek suggested.

Some of the brand's higher wattage select models might be a bit 'okay-ish' in quality, but for the most part, AIGO brand should be avoided like a plague. But still, not recommended for any GAMING PC. Period.

I'm almost certain your current power supply was causing these artifacts for sure. But now that your PC is inaccessible, I suggest you avoid this AIGO PSU for your next 'future' system, if you plan to build one, assuming you have the budget.

Never ever SKIMP on the power supply, since this is the most important component. I can't stress this enough. The Wattage numeber alone means nothing when it comes to any power supply. The QUALITY of the power is what matters the most.

Okay guys i know this sounds stupid but i found solution lol. After i spilled the tea i decided to resurect my setup by cleaning all the ports (pci-e and ram) with alcohol and then started the pc with rx 580. Everything works perfectly fine now. Wow, just wow. I will change PSU asap to not cause any problems in future, and thank you guys for pointing out potential problems and explaining them to me. This might be both luckiest and unluckiest week of my life. In conclusion: If anyone has the same problem with gpu and you already checked everything, try cleaning all your memory and pci-e stots, it might help🌚
