I've been having what feels like constant blue screens, and the most frustrating part is that every blue screen is a completely different error so it doesn't help to pin down the issue. The fact that they seemingly happened at random times, and with random errors, made me think it may be memory/RAM related. Also sometimes i noticed random tabs that were open in my google chrome would crash, without me even interacting with them. So I also tried unseating/reseating the RAM sticks. Did not help. It may be worth noting that this is not a new system with recently newly installed hardware. I've been using it for over a year with no issues at all. This started happening 1-2 months ago.
Other possibly relevant info:
-Windows 10.
-BIOS settings are default. No overclocking, no power saving, no fast startup stuff.
-Drivers and windows are up to date.
Things I've tried:
-sfc /scannow (this actually sometimes causes the pc to crash while it's scanning , with the "kernel security check failure" blue screen error). When it does not crash, it finishes with the following results:
Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them. For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file. For offline repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag.
-Windows memory diagnostic test: No problems detected.
-Scanning my hard disks health: Healthy.
-Fixing windows registry "issues" with CCleaner: Didn't help.
-DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth: Returned "The component store is repairable. So I ran the next command.
-DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth: It returned error: "0x800f081f" The source files could not be found. Use the "Source" option to specify the location of the files that are required to restore the feature.
