I've been having an issue with my PC for a few weeks now that is causing both of my monitors to freeze to a solid color (usually a different color on each) forcing me to reboot my PC. I've tried running it with only one monitor at a time and it worked perfectly. It does not usually occur while I'm gaming but often happens right when I boot up my PC, after I close a game, or while I'm doing things that aren't very intensive such as watching YouTube.

My Rig:

MOBO: Gigabyte Aorus Z370 Gaming 7

CPU: Intel i7-8700K

GPU: MSI Duke GTX 1080 Ti DUKE 11G OC

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LED 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-2666 CL16

PSU: Corsair RMx 750W

Here are the things I've tried:

Connected graphics card to known working single-display rig

Run Windows Memory Diagnostic (came up with no errors)

Cleaned Out Computer for Dust

Updated NVIDIA drivers

If any of you have advice for next steps, that would be much appreciated! Thank you!

All I saw in there was critical error 41 with a few warnings and errors in the image attached. They seem to vary with each instance, and I haven't been able to find a specific set of errors that occurs with each critical shut down. The two monitors are both Dell S2716DG. I have not been able to replicate the issue while running either of them on their own. The issue occurs on both monitors when they are connected as both of them freeze and change to a solid color, but that color is different on each monitor.

Having exact same issue with Aorus 1080TI
I understand that it is a driver issue (though you may think it is your GPU that is defective).
I take it you recently updated driver to play CP2077, if so that is the issue.
Both 460.79 and 460.89 are causing me infrequent single colour crashes (the predominant colour on the screen).
Usually happen when alt tabbing or closing a game down. Not when actually playing. Rolled back to 457.09 which i was last using without issues and testing, no issues so far, fingers crossed :)
