Question Random Complete Freezes, only hard reset works

For months at this point my computer will completely freeze seemingly at random. No matter if I am playing an intensive game, an older less intensive game, or literally just at my desktop with nearly nothing running. It will go days sometimes with no issues, sometimes only a matter of 15 minutes. With my headphones on I hear a quick static crack, and everything freezes, audio, video. As stated in the title the only thing that clears this issue is a hard reset.

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

As stated in the title the only thing that clears this issue is a hard reset.
Besides a reset of the system using the front panel rest button, what else have you tried in order to troubleshoot the issue?

What titles are we looking at here? Where did you source the installers for said games?

Aside from going through my event viewer after crashes and attempting to diagnose and address any 'critical' labeled issues not much from that.

If it does freeze while I am playing it has done it on multiple. Old School Runescape (Jagex), Battlefield 2042 (Steam), Valheim (Steam), Monster Hunter: World (Steam)

Did you reset the CMOS after the BIOS update? Run HWINFO to check temps, is the system overclocked? Did you run SFC? Please provide more info. There are people here who can help you. Thanks.
I did not reset the CMOS after, no. My temps are regularly in the low to mid 40°C while idle and can get around 80°C while playing some of the more intensive games I listed on high settings. That's just based off my basic software, I will run HWINFO when I get a chance in the morning as well as SFC. My CPU is overclocked to 5300MHz. Thank you both for the help

I have downloaded HWINFO, I'm not exactly sure what I am looking at or for, please let me know if I need to change any settings. As for SFC, I have run that as well. 'Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations'. I do remember a few weeks ago I ran SFC and it did find and repaired corrupt files but have still had the freeze problem since.
