I seriously have no idea how to really explain my problem beside from basically my pc is constantly crashing and restarting when i play intensive games, it does not occur with everytime i play but over a random sequence. I checked the event log and got kernel power 41 63 error. This could relate to my psu, but i dont see how considering it is a pretty decent psu and is my newest component, i have checked voltage and it seem to be within normal ranges of 11.5v on the 12v rail when fully loaded and a stable 12v with normal usage same for the 5v rail. I have also checked all temps and all are in considerable ranges, one problem though, one of my ram stick seem to fail the memtest86 and idk if the ram is causing all this trouble or could it be something else, it seem odd for ram to be causing kernel power errors. pls help.

components:
i7 4790k 4.4ghz
Msi gtx 970
16gb hyperx 1866mhz
z97x killer fatality asrock
240 ssd
corsair rmx 850 80+gold

Solution
i think it have to do with my psu, more specifically my extension power cable giving lower 3.3v to the memory causing memory failure and unstability, because after i take out the extensions, i now have stable voltages and apparently memtest86 passes again i am not sure what happen with these extensions but on the 3.3v rail i was getting 2.992v

Could be a faulty PSU. Try replacing and see what happens.
1. You have multiple audio drivers installed on your system or something similar. Two drivers are conflicting with each other causing the crashes. I suggest you go to the device manager and remove duplicate/similar drivers for audio/storage/bios/graphics card, etc.

2. There is a faulty address on your memory. Whenever something is stored in that address, the system crashes. Run memtest and make sure your RAM MUST pass it.

Solution

Everything is back to normal, I rewire the entire computer and it seem the problem arise from the braided cable extensions, apparently something was not fully fitted and power were not 100% going to the pc. After the rewire my ram pass the memtest with no errors and system voltage is back to normal with 12v for 12 v rail, 3.32 v for 3.3 v rail and 5v for 5v rail. No more random crashes.

Awesome!! Glad to hear it.
