Whenever I open a new application or click something, these random dots pop up and sometimes a weird streak appears on my screen. I've tried switching the cables, but that hasn't changed anything. Also, I have duel monitors and it's affecting both monitors.
I've tried taking the GPU out and putting it back in to see if I maybe got dislodged, but that didn't fix anything. When I first got this problem, my computer would freeze and I would have to shut it down. When I turned it on, it went through a process where it checked a bunch of files to see if any were corrupt. It's done this 3 times, but it hasn't been fixed. I tried to uninstall the drivers and reinstall them, but I don't think I did that right.
My GPU is 2048MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series. The temperature isn't any different then what it normally is (around 55F), and I'm not sure how to fix this. I think the GPU might be dying, or there's a memory problem. If you have any ideas, please say them so I can try to fix this.
