Hey

So I assembled a new PC, every piece complete new and everything worked fine for 2 days, but since then I get random freezes on bootup (windows logo with the spinning dots or log in screen) or freezes during gaming (rarely, but happened 2 times so far).

My Setup is:

OS = Windows 10 Pro
Ryzen 2700x
RX 5700 Red Dragon
Patriot Viper 3200 mhz DDR4 2x8GB CL16 (windows shows CL15?)
Kingston SA2000m8 500gb (NVMe SSD) <- Windows 10 Pro installed
Toshiba HDWD110 1TB (completely empty)
Be Quiet Pure Power 11 80+ gold CM 500W

I replaced the SSD with the same one from a differtent retailer, didnt help

I ran BurnInTest and Memtest86. BurnInTest ran without errors multiple times, then froze on the old SSD once (when I only tested the SSD)

Memtest had 0 errors.

please help :(

Hey,
so I checked into that before and my Bios is on version 3.60
BIOS-Version American Megatrends Inc. P3.60, 31.07.2019

On the website it goes up to 3.90, but there is a yellow message that i should not use 3.60, 3.70 or 3.90 with my CPU (even tho 3.60 was pre-installed?)

I had the same problem with my new build. it said F7 was fine for the 9th CPU but I ran into problems ( No OS loading ). I updated to the current BIOS (F10) and then it posted and ran the os fine. Mine is an Itel build tho. It's strange that the website is saying the preinstall BIOS is not supportive of the HW. maybe try downgrading the Bios first to 3.50 ( If there is one )

Have you updated your Bios. This can be over looked.

yes there is a 3.50, i would have to read into how to downgrade and maybe will try that if there are no other suggestions
