Good evening, all!

Intermittently, I am hearing a hitch pitched, squeeky-like, grinding noise coming from my PC, whether I am in desktop or gaming. Please see link for example, occurs maybe a few times every minute and goes away. Happens at the 3-4 sec mark in the clip.

Example of noise @ 3-4 sec mark.

Running the following -

W11 pro latest updates
9800x3d stock speeds, no oc or undervolt
PNY GeForce RTX™ 5070 Ti Overclocked (slight undervolt, but the noise occurred in the same manner @ stock config)
MSI PRO X870-P WiFi Motherboard
Cooler Master Masterliquid Atmos II 360mm
Lian Li Lancool 216 TG ATX RGB
PSU - 750w powerspec
32 GB (2x16) 6000MT/u memory CL 32
Western Digital 2 TB WB Blue NVME.

Had this same exact Issue with a previous build, same CPU, different 5070 Ti, MSI pro b650-p Wifi mobo instead of Pro x870-p wifi.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all in advance :)

I think is some fan's bearing. I think you can probably ignore it and nothing will happen. If you can locate which fan does it, you can just replace it
It's odd because I had this exact sound in a previous build, different fans in case, different rad with different fans as well (same brand, cooler master atmos 240 vs the atmos 360mm).

Can't be anything else, right? I've had coil whine on the GPU before, and I know this isn't that because whine would be a consistent, high pitched frequency buzzing type of sound that lingers but this is intermittent and only happens maybe 1-2 times per minute, and only for a quick second. Would be the same consistent noise on the vrms or PSU if it was coil whine, so that's likely not it either.

Edit - another thing of note, the PC is only a few days old, and only started to exhibit this symptom yesterday. Thanks!

same psu, same drives?
might be a hard drive as well, which is spinning on or off
Same PSU (new, but same exact one as previous build). Also, as per my components breakdown in my initial post, this system is only using 1 2TB NVMe drive

Its also entirely possible that something in the case itself does the noise. Something loose that vibrates at specific fan speeds.
Could be. I sometimes notice it when the computer has just finished powering down. Maybe fans, maybe a combination of fans and their particular fan speeds. No idea, but its driving me crazy because I have a sensitivity to high pitches frequencies lol
