So i built my computer about 6 months back and i've always thought maybe it was just server side lag on the league of legends servers but recently i decided to try out ghosts for pc and i am getting a strange lag on it too. Basically what happens is whenever i'm playing ( i think its random ) my game will freeze for 2-10 seconds in the worst times ie. when i'm about to get a kill go in for teamfights exc. I'm not sure what to post it under so i thought this would be the most general area. any help is appreciated :)

It might be an overheating issue, I'd recommend you to check your GPU and CPU temperatures. I would also recommend you to clean your PC and apply a new thermal paste.

im maxing games out and in league i get 200-300 fps i have a gtx 780, i7, asrock h77 pro4, 8gb ram, 120gb ssd dont think anything else matters. drivers are updated and my ping seems to be fine

my cpu core runs at about 30c and my gpu is at 36c

Choose the highest possible res and AA/AF settings that might limit your framerates to 60 fps; hitting a server with 200 fps will lag the server, so, in effect, your high performance can, in fact, cause lag for yourself and everyone else, as most servers do not have the bandwidth or performance to keep up with your 200 fps updates. (Or see if your games have command line options to cap your framerates to 40-60 Hz)

even when i had it capped at 60 fps it was lagging and nobody else seemed to have the issue :/
