Recently, I have been having some random intermittent issues.
First, my monitor one day stopped recognizing a source when connected to my PC. Sometimes reboot would fix it, sometimes changing the cable port on the gpu fixed it, sometimes i had to unplug from power or unplug the monitor.
Second, my network started to randomly disconnect. Then I saw in the device manager that the PC was detecting issues with the ethernet device. At first, disabling/reenabling fixed it. But then it happened again. I followed some steps to flush something in the command prompt that required a reboot (sorry, I don't recall the exact steps to describe here off the top of my head). This seemed to have resolved the ethernet issues, and since then the monitor just has only acted up once.
Now the third issues that has started after the first two issues seem to have resolved, while playing a video game (doesnt matter what - COD, MTG Arena, etc) my computer will suddenly drop FPS, become very slow and sluggish and choppy. Even if I tab to windows, everything is slow/choppy. The first time it locked up completely. The second time it self corrected but then my microphone completely cut out (which I'm currently in the process of troubleshooting).
In the past month or so, I first monitor issue happened a handful of times - maybe 10-15. Some days it doesnt occur at all, others it might happen a few times? The second ethernet issue only happened the two times, same day, and seems totally resolved after the fix. The third issue with massive slow down/stuttering, happened two or three times throughout the past month. Otherwise, it seems stable most of the time. Runs great still otherwise.
Since these have all occurred in relative close succession to each other, it makes me wonder maybe they are somehow connected to a deeper issue. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be if these are all symptoms of something bigger or something that could cause these seemingly separate issues? Maybe it's just a coincidence.
