Random PC Shut off

Recently (last 2-3 days) my PC has been randomly shutting off. It happens at any point. No error message appears before it shuts of, it just happens instantly and seemingly completely randomly. whilst it is rather dusty inside my case none of the components appear to be overheating.
Any help would be appreciated

CPU: AMD-FX 6300
GPU: amd 7770

PSU:CiT 750U 750 Watt

Have you tried monitoring your temperatures yet? I would suggest getting HWMonitor and have that run in the background while you go about day to day tasks. It could be power related as well but thermal is probably the easiest to start with and eliminate

Definitely start with HWMonitor. While I've not heard of CiT power supplies (I'm guessing they are EU based?), it sounds like that is not a problem. Run HWMonitor and lets see what kind of temperatures we are dealing with. If the system is too unstable to get HWMonitor you can always enter the BIOS and check there too.

PSU is less than two years old

Do you leave the computer on all day or most of the day? 2 years can lower the output potential of a PSU, especially since, from what I can tell, this one has no 80+ cert. I can't even find reviews for the thing.

Best guess is you need a new psu, and definitely make an investment instead of searching for the cheapest deal. Your system will thank you.

Just looked that PSU up and it really sucks. Its only got two 20A 12v rails so each rail can only deliver 240w max. Most 650w deliver over 40A on a single 12v rail.

If its now a little worn and tired its output will be less still.
