Random restarting of pc and blue screen error

I recently started getting this problem where my pc [desktop] crashes and restarts for itself. then sometimes i get the following message

i'm not sure if its the same everytime but this is what i got on the last occasion.
i taut that the problem was with the amd catalyst suit, 12.8-which i upgraded to when it released- because sometimes upon restarting i did not get any display signal from the video card on my f22 aoc monitor. i did uninstall this driver and installed an older version [11.8 i think] and got an ease up on the problem. no restarting as regular as before. only during games. please help me. thanks alot!

start with the simple stuff. open the case make sure all the fans on the cpu and gpu are moving. make sure there not big pile of lint heating up any part. download memtest and make a bootable cd or usb stick and run it over night to see if any of the ram fails. download hardware monitor and look at your cpu and gpu temps and power supply voltages.if memtest is fine try removing 1/2 your ram and see if the error changes. if not swap the memory and see if the error changes. with random blue screen and reboots..it could be ram..heat or power.

If it is only happening when gaming or stressing the system it sounds like it could be a Power supply starting to go bad or being under powered for the system -- What type of system and what Powersupply is in it ? Have you added say a new Video card or some other hardware and not upgraded the PSU ?

As systems age the PSU puts out less power and if you have added new hardware that requires more power you might reach a point where there is not enough power to keep the system running so it shuts off (esp. if this is a prebuilt system from DELL - HP - etc. which tend to be build with marginal PSUs to begin with.)

specs- corsair 750tx, xfx 5770 video card, asus m4a785-m motherboard, amd anthlon x2 processor, 6 gigs ram[ddr2] no lint, i do a monthly cleaning of my system. system is about a year old. parts were bought brand new. any recomended mem test?

0x124: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. One of the few BSOD's that point directly to HW.

The three main causes I've seen for this BSOD:
1) CPU not getting enough voltage
2) Overheating
3) Unstable PS/mobo voltage regulation

ok, so i did a dismantle of everything, a general cleaning, reset the motherboard via battery, wen i start up, i had to set back my settings in the bios and stuff, been running the pc for about 2 hours straight and no problem. i played bfbc2 online and all went smoothly, also did an update of everything, via windows update. will let u all get an update if anything. i'm going for problem solved!!!
