Hi, I wasn't exactly sure where to put this but I figured this would probably be the best place to put it. Recently (as in the last week) I have been getting random restarts and when my pc reboots. About 50% or so of the time when it's rebooted the first thing it will display is "power surge forced restart, Corsair power supply..." something something anyway it says that I got a power surge and that the power saver was forced to restart my pc. Now this only happens when I run things like skype calls or video games. My problem is that they are exactly the same games (Bioshock, Minecraft etc.) that I've been running since I built this pc a few months ago with no issues. My power supply is a 750W Corsair. Is there any way for me to put down the output or fix this problem with what I have? or do I need to go buy a smaller power supply?

Thanks so much!

Your PSU unit is supposed to automatically regulate output power. If it is failing too do this then it is most likely a issue with your PSU. You don't need to buy a smaller PSU. I would test your unit with a new PSU. It doesn't matter what your running on the computer unless your 750w is too small which is possible. Link your specs to give me a better idea of unit.
