Hi I was looking to get some help troubleshooting this issue I've been having. My computer will randomly restart on me. No error message and no pattern to what does it. Let me know what you need to know about my computer and I'll post it. Also post any troubleshooting advice would be appreciated.

I have already tried to revert to a previous restore point and that didn't work. I also checked a box saying do not restart without error code which didn't work.

I posted the specs also an update I reinstalled windows in the system settings and still having this problem.

I do. They went away though. Just thought it might have something to do with the random restarts so I mentioned it. Still no idea why it's restarting. Someone said it might be the power supply so I changed it and I am still getting them.

Using WhoCrashed I got this message today after analyzing on a day that my computer randomly restarted.

On Thu 2/15/2018 10:35:46 AM your computer crashed or a problem was reported

The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

I have the EXACT same issue. since actually the first of Dec. It is intermittant as I have had it happen 2 times in one day and then had it not happen for almost 2 weeks once. I have worked with computer friends as well as with the company who built my computer. (Cybertron) I haven't even been able to upgrade my pc since I got it it was stock parts.
I have checked for malware, spyware, adware, viruses, I have fully reformated even tricking it to prevent windows update, manually checked/updated all drivers, I have changed outlets, I haveclean out the computer more than once (though it barely had any dust in the first place), removed my video card, monitored the temps with Open Hardware Monitor (All stay in fine ranges). Of course I have checked my dump files and they almost; if not completely, mirror yours completely. Cybertron had me run memory tests and all they could think of. They can find nothing either.
I am personally believing it may be the processor or possibly motherboard (I was leaning as not likely the power supply anyway because it doesn't just shut off, it reboots with no notification and no error messages). Running my dmp file through WinDBG program, it talks about the processor so I am thinking of buying a new processor to replace it. If that doesn't work I will try the motherboard like a couple friends suggested. If you try this before you hear from me please leave an update if you think it works.

I bit the bullet and went to a tech. I couldn't find the answer online or through any of my friends. He said that my file system was corrupted. So he did an actual clean install of windows and then put my backup folder on there. I haven't had a restart since. When I say actual clean install I mean how win 10 offers a feature to reinstall windows. This is not a clean install it just overwrites existing files. The tech had to completely wipe the hard drive clean and reinstall win 10 and reinstall all the driver. He even had to mess with the bios. I'm not sure if this is the same as "fully reformatting" as you mentioned but it worked for me.
