Random Shutdown and UEFI Update/Backup?

So, just checking in here to make sure that this isn't a major issue, but it did freak me out a bit and make me nervous. Was just browsing online when all of a sudden all my components plugged into the computer shut down. Mouse, keyboard, microphone, monitor... They all just randomly went dead. The computer itself seemed fine though, still showing it's lights on inside, and the power light was on. Nothing was happening, even with a single push of the power button, so I forcibly turned it off (looking back that *may* have been a bad thing?) and turned it on again several times to no avail. Messaged my friend on my phone about the matter to try and work it over with him, and he was puzzled too. Finally just turned it back on, and let it sit a minute.

Tried hitting the power button, left it for like 30 seconds, and tried again. Shortly after that, the keyboard lit back up, then the monitor started up, then both went down, the microphone went on, etc. After that, everything went on and stayed on, and went to a red screen saying "Secure Backup, UEFI (B -> A)" with "Do not turn off power during UEFI Update" below it.
Once that finished up, it booted up normally and everything seems fine, but it does worry me a bit. Sorry if this is a simple matter, but I'm still not overly experienced with this kind of stuff, and I want to make sure there's not some major issue here.

Haven't adjusted anything at all in the Bios, and it's been working smoothly for quite some time now, although I've still not been able to get the HDD to activate... Also sorry if this is in the wrong category, wasn't sure what fit it the best.

Did you change anything maybe in the last week? Did you notice anything weeks before this occured? Sounds like a power supply issue.

Did notice anything unusual before this occured? It sounds like your power supply might be failing. Go into event viewer and snapshot what is in there. You should be able to see all events that have occured since then.

Try filtering by critcial and error events and snapshot that. The kernel power event indicates that the computer arubtly shut off. Alot of times that error kernel power 41 is mapped to the power supply going bad.

Well, first off, I haven't added any new hardware. The PSU is a tad older than the rest of the components, since I got that back when I got the GPU, but that was only like 2 or so years ago, and I can't imagine the PSU would go bad that quickly. I did forcibly power off (and then another two or so times after powering back on) when everything went dead though. Like I said though, all the internal lighting on the MOBO and the case power indicator were still active when it started.
