This only happens when my computer has been on for a while I will hear a ticking sound inside the computer. If I'm playing a high demanding game but not too demanding it will start to tick earlier than if it was idle. It happens every time. I'd say an hour after just browsing youtube it will start. I typically restart my pc or put it in rest mode and turn it back on right away. It solves the ticking noise for another hour or so everytime. Not just once in a while. It happens every time and I resolve it that way everytime. Started about a year ago. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi, it could just be dust getting in the way of your fans. I had a similar problem a while ago where it would just make clicking sounds which stopped when i opened it up and cleaned all of the dust out.

I don't think so, it's pretty clean, and that doesn't explain why it stops when you put it in rest mode and boot it back up its fine for an hour. But then it does it again. Almost exact time each time.
