Random undeletable folders popping up on desktop?

Hey everyone

I'm having a problem where random folders will pop up on my desktop for seemingly no apparent reason. They all seem to have names like s6dg or s474. Alll 4 letters.
They are empty and undeletable as well. I first noticed them a couple days ago right around the time I started using Davinci Resolve for video editing but I haven't found any info online relating the two. I have run multiple virus checks and they have all come up clean.

Any ideas?

It sounds like you definitely have a virus, that's the only thing I can think of that would do that (specifically on the desktop). Boot into safe mode and let it run there, does it do the same thing?

It is related to Davinci Resolve 12 For sure, when I uninstall it, the problem stops. Resolve isn't a virus though so I'm not sure what to think. Probably just a glitch with the software

If you uninstalled that and it stopped, then it must be that software. That's real strange behavior though, even for a glitch. If you feel that was the issue, I would still boot into safe mode to make sure that behavior does not repeat itself.
