This issue started when i got my new monitor, there are these white lines that will randomly appear horizontally across my screen and it will randomly go black for a short period, i looked it up and found that its probably a graphics card issue and to buy a new cord so i bought a new cord and it worked for a while but its back. Sorry if you're not going off much i don't know what else to say except my specs.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You could've listed your specs like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

In addition to the above, you could add a video/images of the white lines you speak of. Host the images/video on a site like Imgur or their ilk then pass on a link for us to see.
